Composite Decking

Composite has been the popular choice for the last few years.  Composite Decking promises low maintenance and a longer life span than the standard pressure treated pine decking.

Composite decking is typically made with a recycled mixture of wood fibers mixed with plastics. Composite decking come in a variety of sizes, shapes, colors, and textures.  It is easy to work with especially when it comes to bending and radius work it can easily be formed to make bend around a tight radius by using heat pads.  One of the common misconceptions is that composite decking is completely maintenance free,  this is not true all decking is going to require some maintenance.  It will need to be power-washed and cleaned periodically with the recommended cleaner.

It is also important that you register your decking product to avoid manufacture defects like the recent defects in the LP decking recall. which seems to be like a dry-rot type problem that is causing people to actually fall through their decks.
